Here's another travel note! 

Philip and I recently went back to Florence, for (we believe) some well deserved days off and to visit some of the ateliers that work for Eudia. We were really looking forward to visiting the ateliers again. The quality they deliver is outstanding and everything is done by hand. Not surprisingly they also produce hats for e.g. Borsalino, Gucci and Prada (and for the movie The Great Gatsby!) 

In beautiful Florence we found inspiration in everything: sweets at Gilli, designs at Luisa Via Roma, street art and just by watching people while having some amazing drinks. We took this inspiration along to our ateliers, together with all samples I've made (which unfortunately we had to leave at the ateliers - hence no hats on our heads in these photos). We ordered hats for our autumn/winter collection, some for the next Eudia spring/summer and (YES) hatboxes! The latter will certainly not be what you expect a hatbox to be. By the end of September everything will be in our Eudia stores and by the beginning of October you'll be able to see and purchase our newest hats and fascinators in the online shop.
